Transition Coaching for Educators and Thoughtful Professionals

Major transitions rarely begin with a lack of information. They begin with questions:

  • Should I stay or leave?
  • What kind of work is this season asking of me?
  • How do I carry my gifts into a new chapter?
  • How do I make a difficult decision without losing myself?

I help educators and other thoughtful professionals navigate seasons of discernment and change with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. Good coaching is less about advice and more about helping people recover their own judgment.

One conversation at a time.

Life transitions, whether major or minor, are rarely about your job, your location, or your title. More often, they involve questions of identity, vocation, and belonging. We are not simply asking, “What should I do next?” We are asking, “Who am I becoming, and what kind of life am I being invited to live?”

Why I Do This

I have spent my professional life helping people think, discern, and navigate change.

I have served as:

  • teacher and professor
  • academic leader and program director
  • intervention specialist and instructional coach
  • researcher and writer
  • mentor to students and colleagues facing significant transitions

Over the years, people have sought me out not because I had all the answers, but because I helped them ask better questions and see possibilities they had not considered.

I believe that good coaching is less about advice and more about helping people recover their own judgment.

Who This Is For

This work may be a good fit if you are:

Educators considering a transition

  • Feeling stuck
  • Seeking more meaningful work
  • Navigating a major life change

Thoughtful people who need space to think

Sometimes you don’t need another strategy.

You need an hour with someone who can listen carefully, ask good questions, and help you see your situation more clearly.

In a distracted age, clear attention is often the beginning of wisdom.

What We Do Together

Our conversations may include:

  • clarifying priorities and values
  • identifying gifts and patterns
  • discerning next steps
  • thinking through difficult decisions
  • exploring career possibilities
  • developing practical plans
  • navigating identity shifts and transitions

I won’t tell you what decision to make.

I will help you make it more thoughtfully.

What Coaching Looks Like

Initial Conversation

45–60 minutes

A chance for us to get to know one another and determine whether coaching would be helpful.

Ongoing Coaching

One 60-minute session each month.

Between sessions, you’ll have time to reflect with prompts designed just for you, opportunities to experiment, and suggestions for taking meaningful steps forward.

Founding Cohort

I am currently working with a small founding cohort of 3–5 clients at a reduced cost in exchange for honest feedback and testimonials.

If you are navigating a transition and think this work might be helpful, I would love to talk.
